Pearl Project
Support for Marginalized Communities
Reshma Foundation has actively worked toward empowering marginalized and underserved communities through relief, livelihood development, and welfare assistance initiatives. Emergency relief materials were distributed to families affected by severe weather events, helping them rebuild and recover during difficult times. Sustainable livelihood programs were introduced through the distribution of goats to economically vulnerable families, including Irular and Adi Dravidar communities in Chengalpattu, enabling long-term income opportunities. Essential groceries and support materials were provided to Narikuravar communities and Sri Lankan Tamil families residing in Kolambur. Welfare initiatives were also extended to sanitation workers in MKB Nagar in recognition of their contribution to public health and community welfare. These initiatives reflect the foundation’s dedication to social inclusion, dignity, and sustainable development.
